Shop Counters
Although Supermarkets have put many local shops out of business it`s still nice to know that there are a few fine establishments trading that serve the local community. As a kid growing up in Manchester I can remember living at home with my parents and our local shops seemed to cater for everything that you could possibly want. You`d find a butcher, baker, greengrocer and convenience store and the same faces would be stood behind the Shop Counters in all of the small businesses on a daily basis. Routine trips to these shops would be taken by my mum as she stocked up on the groceries that she needed. A hearty welcome was received as you`d walk into the stores by the men and women who stood behind the Shop Counters. You could tell they valued your custom and would always have a spare minute to chat about nothing in general. Todday there are still armies of shop keepers located in all parts of the UK and they stand behind their Shop Counters with a smile upon their face. The supermarket might have driven certain businesses down the drain but luckily there are still a number of them around to serve the local community.

Drug Testing Kits
I work for a large brewery in Manchester and it has been rumoured throughout the company that the managerial staff are thinking of using Drug Testing Kits to see if the workforce have been taking any drugs whilst they are working. The fact that our company are going to use Drug Testing Kits on their staff has really surprised me. I, and many others feel that this is a real infringement on civil liberties, even though I know that at least ninety nine per cent of them would never even consider using drugs, they still feel that using Drug Testing Kits on them would be an invasion of their freedom. Some of the staff have reported this to the union representative and a meeting is being held tomorrow with the management and the union to see if they can be persuaded to shelve their plans. I really think that the management should change their mind about this plan because, not only is it not necessary in our company, but I feel that the management will seriously alienate the workforce if they put this into practice. I think the wise move for all concerned would be to forget about this idea.

Photography Courses In London
I was given a Nikon camera as a Christmas present by my girlfriend three years ago. It was a 4 megapixel camera and at the time I thought this was superb. Today you can buy cameras with 10 megapixels or higher that make my Nikon seem positively antiquated. My eldest nephew has just boug

Tree Removal
Whilst a large tree can look lovely in a back garden it can also block out a fair bit of light. In some instances homeowners find that a tree becomes too large for their plot of land and they opt to have it removed. Others find that a Tree Removal process is the only option they can consider if a tree becomes diseased. Once the Tree Removal process has been completed this brings about another problem. A stump will be left in the ground and two options will need to be considered. The first option is to leave the stump where it is and then encourage plants to grow over it. This can be fine but sometimes disease can set into the stump and fungi will start to grow upon it. Another option to consider will be to have the stump removed after the Tree Removal project has been completed. Trained experts will carry out the tree stump removal process and this will leave the garden free from any signs of the trunk. Once the stump has been removed the area can be turfed or covered in any way that the homeowner decides. Trained surgeons can take down the tree to begin with and experts in stump grinding and chainsaw operations will complete the task in hand.
