Oak Notice Boards
By William Topping

There is one thing that a parish council should have in the village square and that`s a fine example of an oak notice board. How else can the community know what`s going on in the village if they don`t have a notice board to keep them up to date? A parish council without one of the Oak Notice Boards will be a council that is neglecting the local community. There`s something about Oak Notice Boards that help them to fit right in with their surroundings. Obviously the wood is a bonus on the notice boards and each and every one is made from top grade English oak. Not only will the wood last for years it will stand the test of time well and still look just as good after a long period of time. There are choices to be made before one of the Oak Notice Boards is ordered as it can be open fronted or come as a glazed unit. The sizes will vary, it all depends on the customer`s needs, and they can be wall mounted or fixed on their very own posts. The village notice board is part of the village`s heritage so only the finest of Oak Notice Boards should be fitted in respect of this fact. Parish councils should ensure the villagers know what`s going on in their community by paying to have one of the Oak Notice Boards erected.

My sister has recently emigrated to Australia and, although I will miss her dreadfully, I understand why she has made this move and feel that she will really make a brand new start in life over there. When she was packing up her belongings I could not believe the amount of parcels to Australia she was sending. However, as she explained, sending parcels to Australia was the only way she could take all her things with her because she would not be allowed to take all her belongings on the aeroplane. She left a lot of stuff behind initially and then I offered to pack them up and send them in parcels to Australia. She has been in Australia for two months now and is having a great time. She loves the area she lives in and her quality of life has dramatically improved. I am incredibly excited because I have just booked tickets to go out to see her at the end of the year. She has told me she has planned all sorts of trips out for the family and I canā??t wait to see her and her new home.
